1798: Born July 4, second of 9 children.

1808 (or 6): Married Francois Benjamine Metoyer. They had twelve children:

1814: Felicien (Francois) Benjamine Jr; born June 9; married Marie Louise Eugenia Lemee (1832-65) on November 11, 1854. The 1850 Agriculture Census lists: Benj. Metoyer; value of farm 40,000; 1500 acres in cultivation; 5000 acres unimproved. He died February 22, 1889.

1817: Marianne Cephalide; born April 30 in Natchitoches; married first on Jun 2, 1835 to F.X. Archinard; second to P. Phanor Prudhomme on Oct 10, 1855; died October 30, 1857; buried in American Cemetary.

1818: Suzanne Lise; born November 22, 1818; married January 12, 1835 to Pierre Phanor Prudhomme; died March 19, 1852, buried in Catholic Cemetary.

1820: Ursin born on October 11 in Natchitoches.

1823: Therese Heloise born August 7; married Valery Gaiennie on January 27, 1844; died January 18, 1897, buried in Catholic Cemetary.

1824: Felix Pierre Felecian born on December 25; unmarried; died in 1847.

1826: Victorin Octave born July 11; married Julia Angela Prudhomme on February 23, 1865; died August 8, 1867.

1831: Francoise Aurore born March 8; (See E2); died 1875.

1833: Caroline Emma born March 1; died March 14.

1836: Amelie born January 5; married February 28, 1882 to Winter Wood Breazeale.

1838: Marie Louise Aimee born June 28; married July 27, 1859 to C. Alex Cloutier; died September 29, 1887.

1848: F.B. Metoyer (her son?) Sold 1500 arpents and 600 arpents on Cane and Red Rivers to Aurore Metoyer, widow of Ben Metoyer, for $62, 000.

1849: Appeared with daughter Francoise Aurore as "mother and tutor" for signing a marriage contract with Valery DeBlieux.

1860: Census: "Age 62, Planter, 1 child; 2 in household; 119 slaves, 36 dwellings; value of real property 80,000; Value of personal property 130,000; 1,100 acres improved land; 3,000 unimproved; value livestock, 10,000."

1862: Slaveowners Census: "Widow of Ben M.: 120 slaves."

1874: In her last will and testament dated June 6th, 1874 (recorded March 13th, 1890, Book 88, page 89, Records of Natchitoches Parish) she deeded property to her heirs: Ben Metoyer, Heloise Gaiennie, Octavie Prudhomme, Amelie Metoyer, a single woman, Aimee Cloutier, Aphonse Prudhomme, P.E. Prudhomme, Adeline Breazele, Harriett Breaseale, Louis DeBlieux (husband of Aurore?), Desire Archinard, Celine Buard and Desire Buard. (See copy in file)

1877: Died September 1. "Madame Ben left to oldest son Ben, born 1817, the old home for his devotion, expatiated on his goodness." (Cammie Henry)

1879: Her succession was filed on September 22. Children were:

i. Felicien Benjamin , Sr. Metoyer was born on 9 Jun 1814. He died on 22 Feb 1889.
ii. Marianne Cephalide Metoyer was born on 30 Apr 1817 in Natchitoches, LA. She died on 30 Oct 1857 in Natchitoches, LA.
iii. Suzanne Lise Metoyer was born on 22 Nov 1818 in Metoyer Point Plantation, LA. She died on 19 May 1852.
iv. Ursin Metoyer was born on 11 Oct 1820.
v. Therese Heloise Metoyer was born on 7 Aug 1823. She died on 18 Jan 1897.
vi. Felix Pierre Felecien Metoyer was born on 25 Dec 1824.
vii. Victorin Octave Metoyer was born on 11 Jul 1826. He died on 8 Aug 1867.
viii. Octavie Metoyer was born on 12 Mar 1828. She died on 4 Dec 1882. She was buried in Nativity Catholic, Campti, LA.
