DAVID, TRAHAN, COMEAUX, MENARD, MANCEAUX
I am searching for any and all information pertaining to my grandparents, Isaac David and
Edolia Menard. I have no
information whatsoever to offer on Edolia Menard other than the fact that she was born
approximately 1896 to 1906,
in the Abbeville, Lake Arthur areas, her parents owned land with oil and she may have
had a brother named Philbert.
She met my grandfather Isaac David at Isaac's nephew's restaurant/bar located in
Riceville, Louisiana (Between Morse
and Gueydan, La). The restaurant was named the Town and Country Restaurant and it
has been closed for years. Isaac
David was a fiddle player and purportedly died inside of a restaurant/bar. One of the
other members of the David
family also played a fiddle or some other musical instrument. The restaurant in Riceville
was owned by Pierre David.
Pierre was the son of Aventin Corantin David, son of Louis Victor David. Edolia died
approximately 1928 to 1940.

I am trying to research my grandmother, Melina Robicheaux who, to my
knowledge, was born, lived and died in New Iberia, Louisiana. She was
married to Freddie Armentor and bore him four children, Laurent, Lonnie,
Martrine and my mother, Viola Armentor. As I understand it, Melina Robicheaux's
mother was a Romero who married Alcibiot (sp?) Robicheaux. Freddie Armentor
(possibly listed as d'Armentor) was also born in New Iberia to my understanding.
I am trying to trace my Spanish lineage on either, or both, side(s), any help that you can

Broussard. There was a sponsor listed at the bottom with same last name - Simeon
Roulet (Rulet). This was from Sacred Heart Church in Port Barre, LA.
