You were counted on by so many to have a smiling face.
What we'd all give for just one more embrace.

You were always smiling and enjoying each day.
No one ever doubted you were here to stay.

We loved you so much just because you were kind.
Another person like you I doubt we'll ever find.

You were a wonderful person, and such a great friend.
You were always there with helping hand to extend.

We'll never forget you, your face or your smile.
The huge pain we all feel will be here for awhile.

You aren't here with us but your spirit will never die.
To be more like you is what we should all try.

Gabe, your presence is still felt and our memories aren't few.
We don't want memories though, what we really want is YOU.
